Inspiration

Today, I met an inspiring, successful business woman. She was very upbeat and energetic. She portrayed a wonderful sense of adventure as she told a story about lugging coolers of food to pursue the travel necessary for her demanding career. Not so long ago, she had to bring food wherever she went. Restaurants didn’t uderstand food alleriges and the wait-staff thought it was odd when she requested an audience with the chef. Food labeling was extremely obscure and allergies were like an alien language.
Oh, how lucky we are. Our son will launch his career in an era where some restaurants have made great strides to accommodate food allergies, and “EPI-PEN” is almost a household word.
